Blush is must in my daily makeup regime. My skin tone is light and I just love to wear light pink blush on my cheeks. I have normal-to-oily acne prone skin and so I wanted a blush which should match my skin and shouldn’t irritate my skin. So I was googling for the best blush for oily skin and I found Maybelline Expert Wear Blush on one of the site, I read everything about the product and the reviews. I was quite impress with the product and so thought to test it. Next day itself I went to nearest beauty shop and get this product. I bought mine Maybelline Expert Wear Blush for 250 INR. I had to choose between 3 shades: Pinch O Pink (bright pink), Berry Sorbet (less bright pink) and Mocha Velvet (brownish shade). I chose Berry Sorbet without a doubt, since the other two shades were a bit extreme for me. The blush has some fine grained shimmer in it.
What Maybelline says about the blush?? :
Expert Wear Blush with jet milled spherical powders provides soft, true, fade-free natural color for hours and hours.
• Silky soft texture blends evenly and easily
• Oil free
• Non comedogenic - Won't clog pores
• Dermatologist tested
After buying this blush I use it every day for my daily office going makeup and I am very much happy that I choose right product. The shade Berry Sorbet gives my face a naturally blushing face, which I like. Maybelline Expert Wear Blush is a powder blush and blends easily, even with the tiny brush that comes with it. It doesn’t even break on my oily skin. The blush requires multiple sweeps to give good color payoff. Since the coverage is very buildable, there is less possibility of ending up with too much blush on your face in one sweep. It comes in a black plastic case with a transparent plastic lid and you can carry it with you every day. It’s tiny and will not take much space in your makeup bag. I found the product best for the price I paid.
I liked product a lot but still there are some negative things which needs to be changed are: There were only 3 shades available in the store, I think Maybelline should release more shades in India. The blush is loosely packed, so some powder drifts around the blush pan in the container which means unnecessary wasting of product.
To conclude: Avoiding the very less negative points I liked this product a lot and definitely will recommend this blush. I am waiting for the Maybelline to launch more and more shades so that I can buy more pinkish color for my self.
